Welcome to Boat Owner's Boat Rental. By accessing this website and using our houseboat booking service, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
1. Bookings & Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only after we receive the agreed advance payment and issue a written confirmation (via email, SMS, or WhatsApp). Until then, all quoted rates and availability are indicative and subject to change.
2. Pricing
Prices listed on the site are starting points and may vary based on season, public holidays, the chosen route, group size, and special requests. The final payable amount will be displayed before payment and clearly stated in your confirmation.
3. Payments
Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. The advance is required to confirm a booking; the balance is collected at the time of check-in unless agreed otherwise in writing. We do not store card or bank details on our servers.
4. Check-in, Cruise & Check-out
Standard check-in is at noon and check-out is at 9:00 AM the following morning, unless your package states otherwise. Cruise routes and timings are subject to weather, water levels, and government regulations. We may modify the route or duration for guest safety without prior notice.
5. Conduct & Safety
Guests are expected to behave courteously toward the crew and other guests. Swimming in the backwaters, smoking inside cabins, and tampering with safety equipment are strictly prohibited. The captain may terminate the cruise without refund if guests engage in unsafe or unlawful behaviour.
6. Damage & Liability
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the boat, furniture, or onboard equipment during their stay. The cost of repair or replacement may be recovered at check-out. Boat Owner's Boat Rental is not liable for personal injury, loss of belongings, or delays caused by weather, government action, or other circumstances beyond our control.
7. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events outside our reasonable control — including but not limited to floods, storms, strikes, government restrictions, or pandemics. In such cases, we will work with you in good faith to reschedule the cruise.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking will apply to your trip.
